Device enabling remote control of Vernier positioning

The tissue tension CONTROLLER (or MOTOCOM) can be used either with our standard 4 baths bench-top or our ios4 automated machine. It adjusts tissue pretension to a target value (in weight or length) at preset time intervals by using motors integrated in the bath mainframe. The maximum speed is 625 µm/sec and resolution is 2.5 µm. The device may be operated manually, using the switches on the front panel. Alternatively, it may be driven by iox software. Each unit controls up to 4 motors.

We can adapt the tissue tension CONTROLLER to work with other systems (please inquire). An adaptation already exists for Radnoti setups.

When used with the bath solution CONTROLLER, it becomes possible to create automated stablization protocols.
