Our itf16, itf32 and itf64 interface boxes allow you to connect several devices to your computer during experiments.
itf16 has:
- 16 BNC inputs numbered 1 to 16, corresponding with each input of the AD board (installed in the computer) - these inputs are named "Input" in iox
- a 68-pin connection plug (male) for the cable going to the AD board
- a 9 pin plug (female) corresponding to TTL outputs - these outputs enable control of external devices by sending 0-5V signals (for configuration, refer to iox manual) - pin 1 is ground, pin 2 is TTL level 1, pin 3 is TTL level 2, …, pin 9 is TTL Level 8
- one BNC plug corresponding to a timer output (0-5V square wave of adjustable frequency) - this output is often used to control stimulation
- another optional BNC plug corresponding to a second timer output
itf32 has:
- 32 BNC inputs numbered 1 to 32, corresponding with each input of the AD board (installed in the computer) - these inputs are named "Input" in iox
- a 68-pin connection plug (male) for the cable going to the AD board
- a 9-pin plug (female) corresponding to TTL outputs - these outputs enable control of external devices by sending 0-5V signals (for configuration, refer to iox manual) - pin 1 is ground, pin 2 is TTL level 1, pin 3 is TTL level 2 …, pin 9 is TTL Level 8
- a BNC plug corresponding to a timer output (0-5V square wave of adjustable frequency) - this output is often used to control stimulation
- a second optional BNC plug corresponding to a second timer output
- two analog outputs
itf64 has:
- 64 BNC inputs numbered 1 to 64 corresponding with each input of the AD board (installed in the computer) - these inputs are named "Input" in iox
