Frédéric manages the 7-strong sales, customer support and marketing team for Europe. In addition, he works closely with representatives of emka TECHNOLOGIES products in the European market.

Frédéric is a biomedical engineer and the in-house specialist for pulmonary studies.

Frédéric joined emka TECHNOLOGIES in 1993. 

Hélène assists all of the sales team in their daily tasks. In addition, as she works closely with suppliers, she is the point of contact for our customers in their relations with our suppliers.

Hélène also works with Jonathan in marketing and documentation to prepare for trade shows, seminars and user group meetings.

Fabien is responsible for sales and support in Austria, Germany and northern Switzerland. He is delighted to support your project throughout its development and to propose the system that best meets your needs.  In addition, Fabien provides sales/support and handles requests concerning Millar Instruments products.

Jinane is responsible for sales and support in western France, the UK and Greece. She has a background in biomedical engineering, and is more than willing to bring you the benefits of her knowledge in cardiovascular signals and laboratory equipment.

And, as you get to to know Jinane, you too will believe that "the more complex the problems, the simpler the solutions", as she likes to say and prove!

Michel is responsible for sales and support in Paris, north-eastern France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark and Israel, …

He is the first person to contact for any information on Transonic Systems products (flow probes) and Kent Scientific Corporation products (non-invasive blood pressure measurement for rodents).

Michel is happy to come to your laboratory to present new products and/or carry out demonstrations, so do not hesitate to contact him to arrange a visit.

Last, but not least, Michel is a native of Roanne, a city near Lyon, where you will find one of the best restaurants in the world. He can also guide you there!

Jonathan is in charge of marketing and documentation. He studies the markets for our products, makes all our marketing material (online, print and advertising). With Andreas, he also looks after our user manuals.

Jonathan and Helene are the two people to contact for any information concerning events we attend as exhibitors or the user group meetings organized by emka TECHNOLOGIES.
 
Jonathan has a background in French medieval literature, which he used to practice on a daily basis. After 8 years working in our industry, he is not as fluent as he used to be! Nevertheless, he remains an invaluable source of information about the fascinating origins of everyday words!
 
He likes to challenge himself and the rest of the company to make all our products look as attractive as they deserve. He works closely with Vincent and Benoit to do so.

Andreas is responsible for producing documentation for all of emka TECHNOLOGIES' products and services. He collaborates with all the other departments; he is often seen wandering around the offices and workshop clutching a pen and pad and wearing an expression of intense concentration.

Andreas has a love of the English language, a keen scientific mind, an insatiable appetite for knowledge and is a bit of a perfectionist. These traits have held him in good stead as a medical and biomedical technical writer, both in the past and at emka TECHNOLOGIES. His aim is to produce documents − user manuals, data sheets, marketing literature etc − that are well-written, accurate, informative and user-friendly. He welcomes feedback and is open to suggestions on ways of improving documents.

As a former Londoner and now expat, Andreas is determined to dispel certain myths concerning British cuisine. His staunch defense of Marmite and The English Breakfast often leads to conflict situations with colleagues   …

Jean-Michel is responsible for sales and technical support in France and Germany. He also manages research and development (R&D) projects related to signal processing and analysis.

Jean-Michel has a background in physiology and computer sciences, and his previous experience includes over 10 years in R&D.

Julian is an apprentice at emka TECHNOLOGIES in the first year of a 3-year course on electrical and industrial computer engineering, and embedded software design.

He is specialized in analog and mixed signal applications. He is responsible for hardware and embedded software development on some products. He designs some prototypes and develops electronic schematics and software.

Olivier is specialized in analog and mixed signal applications. He is responsible for hardware and embedded software development on some products. He designs some prototypes and develops electronic schematics and software. Olivier also works on the non-invasive emkaPACK telemetry systems.

He is in the first year of a 3-year course on electrical and industrial computer engineering, and embedded software design.

Saïd is an electrical and industrial computer engineer, specialized in real-time ethernet application design and embedded systems. On a daily basis, he works with Vincent on our distributed data acquisition applications.

His motto: "It is not because things are difficult that we do not dare, but it is because we do not dare that they become difficult".

Frederic is the manager of the IT department.

He has been working in pharmaceutical research software engineering since 1986 and joined emka TECHNOLOGIES in 2000.

He likes offering his customers the software they need and helping them to perform their studies efficiently.

Mathieu is an apprentice providing computer and LAN support for everyone at emka TECHNOLOGIES. 

Vincent is project manager for distributed data acquisition applications and a specialist in digital signal, real-time and embedded systems. Vincent works closely with Saïd, mainly on our ethernet applications. They are officially known as "the guys who run long cables all over the place" !

Vincent studied embedded electronics in Paris, and originally hails from a city in western France called Angers.

Benoit is our project manager and specialist for pulmonary, tissue bath and isolated heart applications. He devotes most of his time to designing and developing new products, but also works to enhance existing products. Often, he likes to challenge Jonathan to make his products look as good as possible.

Benoit also manages pre-production of our products.

He has a background in mechanical engineering.

Nicolas is an electrical and industrial computer engineer, specialized in analog, mixed signal and USB acquisition applications. 

Among other things, he presently works on our new emkaBATH4 system for studies on isolated tissues.  

Hervé takes care of the technical development of iox2 and of emka TECHNOLOGIES' common components. Hervé manages the different versions and integrations of these software. With other members of the IT department, he also writes and maintains the corresponding code.

Hervé joined emka TECHNOLOGIES in 1997.

Marc is the manager of the production team, who are the last people to handle your products before we ship them to you.

Marc's many tasks include ordering materials, assemblying products and monitoring equipment assembled by third-parties. 

Marc also carries out on-site maintenance visits. He also does quite a bit of technical support.

Marc joined the company in 1993.

Serge writes manuals and occasionally test reports for emka TECHNOLOGIES' hardware products.

Serge is the person who tracks hardware products when they leave emka TECHNOLOGIES, and handles returns. He also prepares orders including the assembly of hardware.

Another of Serge's tasks is maintenance at client premises.

Gilles works with Grégoire in our production department. He is an electromechanical assembly technician. More specifically, he is responsible for testing electronic equipment for which production is outsourced. He then assembles our final electronic products and again does some testing.

Occasionally, Gilles carries out maintenance on emka TECHNOLOGIES hardware on client's premises.

Valérie is responsible for all accountancy and administrative duties, and she seems to be as precise in her work as any precision instrument we sell! She also takes care of travel arrangements for emka TECHNOLOGIES personnel.

She has been with emka TECHNOLOGIES since it was founded in 1992.

Kévin is responsible for the validation of your products. He is also the person to call on when you have any technical question concerning our software or hardware.

Kévin has a background in mechanical and industrial engineering.

Her background is in analysis and instrumentation in the biochemistry field. Sandrine brings to her role valuable experience in the pharmaceutical industry, where she was in charge of Quality Assurance for 4 years.

Serge joined emka TECHNOLOGIES in 1997, at our Paris site, where he mainly handled sales of our distributed products (Millar, Transonic, Buxco, ...). In 2001, following the decision to open our Falls Church office, Serge moved to the US to successfully start our North American branch.

Today, emka TECHNOLOGIES INC. is an independent structure with a committed and highly knowledgeable team, handling all aspects of sales to Mexico, United States, and Canada. As testimony to the quality of our products and the know-how of our team, we have, despite the local competition, established a large customer base, including well-known pharmaceutical companies.

Josh is scientific sales manager at emka TECHNOLOGIES North America. As the first employee in the North American office and over 6 years' experience, he oversees its sales team, and focuses on supplying our industry clients with glp & non-glp integrated reasearch solutions. He has solid experience in technical customer support, and supplying clients with customized solution implementation.

Josh is specialized and has extensive experience in both the Safety Pharmacology, and Toxicology areas as well as analysis of ecg's. He has worked with pharmaceutical/CRO industry leaders to develop and implement client-focused solutions.

Josh has a B.S. in Biology from Virigina Tech University, and 4 years of in-lab experience.

David handles sales, installation, system training, and support for both industry and academic clients. He has 3 years of experience. 

David has a background in biology.

Emily has a B.S. in biology from Bates College and a doctoral degree in veterinary medicine from Michigan State University.
